Vacancies for almshouses are advertised in a local week]y newspaper and on the Charity'5 wd)site. Appli¢ants are

The OUi¢ome of the ¢P￿rIty'S OP¢Tations for the year ended 3 1st De¢onber 2023 shows gn operating surplus iti th¢
S￿lement of Comprehensive In¢ome of £59,069 up £14.464 (xl 2022, primarily duc to the ¢xF¢nditure on th¢
development of Romleigh now being in the co1￿ctiOn phase. Totsl comprehensive income was £72.750 for the
year which was higher than th¢ totsl of £21,882 for 2022 primerily due to the reversal of the movement in the fair
value of the investsients.
Any costs rel*ing to Romleith from Janwy 2023 onwards have betn capitsli5ed.

d¢v¢lopment of the principle activity. Our reserve level is set with the knowied8e that significant void levels may occur
