**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO PROVIDE FOR THE FINANCIAL RELIEF OF HARDSHIP NORMALLY BY THE MAKING OF FINANCIAL GRANTS AMONGST THOSE WHO ARE, OR WHO HAVE BEEN, MEMBERS OF THE SOCIETY FOR RADIOLOGICAL PROTECTION, THEIR DEPENDENTS, AND THOSE WHO ARE NOT MEMBERS OF THE SOCIETY BUT WHO WORK, OR HAVE WORKED, IN RADIOLOGICAL PROTECTION. SUCH NON-MEMBERS WOULD ALSO INCLUDE THEIR DEPENDENTS.

**Activities:** We exist toprovide for the relief of financial hardship amongst those who are, or who have been, members of the Society for Radiological Protection or who are dependents of members or former members.
