a) To advance the Christian Religion for the public benefit by supporting the continuing work of retired clergy of the Church of England in their local activities and more widely.

Section D Achievements and performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year

The Charity held two General Meetings for all members during the year. One of these was the Annual General Meeting.

The Charity held two Trustees’ meetings during the year.

Representatives of the Charity met twice during the year with senior officers of the Church of England Pensions Board, with representatives of the Human Resources Department of the Archbishops’ Council of the Church of England and with representatives of the Remuneration and Conditions of Service Committee or the Archbishops’ Council.

During the year the Charity gained 68 new members and lost 41 members through death,.

The Charity holds Church of England Central Board of Finance Brief statement of the fixed interest securities. At the end of 2020 these had a value of charity’s policy on £14,804 reserves
