In the first year of the Charity (17-18) the Trustees volunteered for the Trustee selection methods positions and were accepted by the committee of the Football Club. The objects of the club shall be 'the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation in Prudhoe, Northumberland and its surrounding areas in particular by the provision of facilities for the playing of youth and adult football'.

During the year the club operated 31 FA affiliated teams (giving football training and playing opportunities for over 400 players. 

The Trustees confirm that they have complied with the requirements of section 4 of the Charities Act 2011 to have due regard to the public benefit guidance published by the Charity Commission for England and Wales.

The Club thanks all of its trustees, team managers, coaches, and team assistants numbering over 35 volunteers without whom the club could not operate.

**Summary of the main** The Men’s Senior team achieved promotion from the Northern Football **achievements of the charity** Alliance to the Northern Football League. **during the year** The club fielded two Girls teams and hope to grow the number of girls teams in the future. Physical recreation opportunities for training and playing association football were created for over 400 young people and adults

As at 30/06/2022 the Prudhoe Youth Club FC club account **Brief statement of the** Unrestricted reserves held in the bank accounts were £39,578. **charity’s policy on reserves** Our general policy regarding reserves is to hold them for contingencies, capital equipment purchases and for unexpected repair and maintenance costs. **Details of any funds materially in deficit**

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 30/06/2021. 

**Responsibilities and** As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation **basis of report** of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). 

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. 

## **Independent examiner's statement** 

I have completed my examination.  I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
