The iniual -l¢Kkdown- An March 2020 saw th¢ building close for all restoration work for four month& Subsequent restrithioLs allowed construction WO￿ to r¢5t8rt ationally. which tlleant work at the Bath5 ￿Uld continue. That said progress has been mad¢. The sports I￿11 withws have been restOTe¢ repainted and reglaZe￿ our build￿5 are underway with initial works including rnewing the toilets, and there h89 b¢en progress with the ri)ofs. Finances were carefi￿Y monitor&J througbout the pandemic. unfort￿tIy, a nWDber of busine support grdnts were unavatlable to the Tn￿t du¢ to the Bath5 not king opeTational PTior to the pondemic. The delay iti opening was not considered despite income generation being affected. However. all costs were reduc￿{ as far as possible an¢ due to these measures, the Tnjst was at no point tn financial difficulty. We cont&nue to thank all of our fimdws for their suppxr and patience during these uncert2in tymcs. Flnancial Review The Tn￿teeS are pleased with the conlinuillg F*rfoTuMice of the charity as set out in the fitwici81 statements. Reserves Pollcy The Trust is CUTrently using all funding to r¢store Bjrne Avenue Bath5. This is being done in phases to ensure 3 realistic approach and to Conserve cashfiow. As such the Trust are not bolding any r¢seEYes other than th05¢ ffquired to pay existing outgoillgs for a period of 12 months. Once the restoration project 18 comple1¢ and the Trust is able to move to an income generating EN)sition then the Tmst will introduce a reserves tM)licy. Funding Funding I￿8 continued to be sought for the w0￿S from a nw)ther of grant providers. A number of capitsl grants have been received tn particular-Pow¢r to Change- already mentioneAI within 'achievcment and perforniance. atx>v¢ will be ￿ndIng the sports hall ￿$toratiOn. Risk Review The Trustees have examined the major risks that th¢ charity face5 and h&8 taken sleps to minimise those risks.
