Association. It was formed by Resolution in 1969 and is governed by the Objectives and Activities set
Out in its Constilution, adopied on 6" March 2017. It became a charjty on 16" March 2017. Its
address is Warwick Preparatory School. Bènbury Road, Warwick. CV34 6PL.

The main activities ol WPSA dvriThg the year were fundraising events which also provided social
occasions for members. and the colleclion ol subscription receipts.
WPSA also rvns a Second Hand Unilorm Shop.

Achlevements
WPSA'S aciivities in 2020 were limiied by Covid-19. which pcevented the running of the Easter Egg
Hunt, Bingo Night and Sutnrner Fun Afternoon. as well a5 pre¥eniing us from holding a number ol
second hand uniform sales.
The total financial support 8iven io the school in the 2019nO year was É1.395. WPSA wa5 able io
5UPPOrt a wide range of reoue5t5 lor financial as51Stance. the full detsils of which are shown al Note 3
of the accounts. A further donation of E15.CMX) was Kiven to the Warwsck Independeni Schools
Foundation for the Pioject One Campus appeal. which will 80 towards new play spaces and play
equipmeTht lor Warwick Prep. WPSA also raised £1,618 lor other charities- primarily Macmillan.
The WPSA second hand uniform shop returned £6.W2 to parent5 in uniform sales. as well as
reducing Ihe cost5 01 their uniform purchases.
Flnanclal Matters

Swan Street, Warwick CV34 46J For the holding of cash feserve5.
Thè Indèpendent Examiner ol the wp accounts is Mrs Claire Attttk. ol Sprin8wood, Norton
Gran8e. Little Kineton, Warwlck LTr35 OOP.
The accounts are prepafed on a Re£eipt5 and Paymenis basis. The ush reserves at the year-end
were uncomm¢tted although it 15 the policy of the General Commiitee to *eep accumulated lunds to
minimum by supporting as many School prosects as possible. Funds lof ihe project5 are 8enerally
allocated each term and applications lor support are submitted by both staff members and the Pupll
Counc¢l, and evaluated durin8 commiiiee meetings.
No irusree, committee mèmber or persons known io be connected with thèm received remuneration
or benefit directly or indirectly from the Charity durin8 ihe year.
WPSA is grateful to Warwick Preparatory School and lis staff for the operaiional and administrative
support they have given durin8 ihe period.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31 August 2020.
- **Responsibilities and** As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation **basis of report** of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
