The provlslon of affordable gymnastics activities in an elite environment includin8 disabllity 8ymnastics at a rate that Is
deemed affordable by individual families. The sponsorin8 ol thildren who throu8h hardshlp would otherwSse not be
able to partl£ipate. The 5ubsidisinB ol disability seSs￿n5 to allow low coach to child ratios, but keepin8 the cost to the
user Identical to those accesslng mainstrearn dasses.

The Statement of Financial ActNities shows total incoming resovrces for the year ended 5 Aprll 2021 of £363,721

The charity operates on revenue collected thrO￿h the sub5crlptlons of users accessing our semces and throu8h the
sales of awards and club merchandlse. Capital costs up to thls polnt have been met through a mlxture of finance and
through funds glven by grant making organtsations.

Reserves pollry
The charity'5 reserves policy alms to seture three to slx months of runnlng tost5 withln the general free reserves to
ensure on6oin8 sustsinability. The current level of free resewves falls below this objective at this Point in time.
FUTURE PLANS
After 3 troubliTh8 past year due to the Cov1&19 Pandemlfj our priorrty this year Is securln8 the luture of OUT
pro8ramme at North Birmingham Community Gymnastics. We have been so fortunate to recewe funding from
arious sources over the last Nnandal year io cover our revenue costs and Ouf Pi08ramme is still viable.
We hope to extend the provision we offer to more thlldren and young ptople access to our 5PQrt at an affordable
cost. Our waltln8 Ilsts continue to be exceptoonal￿ lengthy and we no longer have the physical capaclty to take on
any more members. We are cUrreTht￿ lookinB into the ftnantial viabllity of extendlng our buildin8 ès the opportunltv
has arlsen to rent the adlolnln8 office and workshop Space In the CFS bulldiTh8 that we would convert Into a second
gvmnaslum and dlsabS11ty actlvlty rooms. In doln8 this we would also extend the lease we have on the current
w•rehouse for anothèr ten years.
Any such Space would need to allow us to èxpand our membefshlp by SO% to make It a worthwhlle project. Current
fundin8 and sodal enterprise Snvestment 15 belng sou8hi as the Cha￿ty does not have the cash in the bank to lacllitate
thls expanslon. 11 fundlng Is granted we will move lorward with projett.
This wlll be the Charlty's maln aim for the coming ￿ar. In a bellef that the servlce we offer ihrou8h both our
malnstream and dlsability pro8ramme5 art of such beneflt to the chlldien and young people ol North Blrmlngham.

Covld-19 represents a $18Trificant event both during ar￿ ￿nce the end of the financial period. The Impart of this
and the countermeasures being taken to suppress it are consldered to be Thon-adjusting post year end event5
and therefore have not been taken into account in preparbng the 8èlance Sheet as at 5 April 2021.
