## Chairmans Report 

I can only comment from October 2024, however since then it’s fair to say that things within the club have certainly improved, with several new members and the now infamous deep clean which took a lot longer than I think everyone expected. 

We are pending approval from the CIC regarding land acquisition over the road, and have plans in place for re decorating the centre to complete the freshen up. 

From a policy aspect, we are now all fully compliant to an above and beyond perspective, all club procedures are full updated, thanks to Nick. 

Our vision going forward is to lower the age limit to ten years old, hopefully enticing new volunteers and giving the year 6 cohort access to meet their High School peers.

Nominations were received for position of Chairman, Dem Roulston nominated James Walsgrove seconded by Roger Lander – unanimous vote received for James Walsgrove, duly accepted the position 

052502 – Election of Treasurer 

Nominations were received for position of Treasurer, James Walsgrove nominated Dem Roulston seconded by Harry Lander – unanimous vote received for Dem Roulston, duly accepted the position 

052503 – Election of Secretary 

Nominations were received for position of Secretary, James Walsgrove nominated Nick Antill-Holmes seconded by Alison Davies – unanimous vote received for Nick Antill-Holmes, duly accepted the position 



052504 – Treasurer’s report 

The current bank balance was shared and it is clear that we need to look at tightening the belt whilst ongoing work to secure funding is ongoing, it is clear that the opening during last summer saw a significant outlay with it seems little return in revenue. 

April 2024/2025 saw outgoings at £6,892 with an income of £2,529. 

We have continued with our training and development plans and outlay on this alongside DBS checks was a one off during this financial year. 

Alison and Nick will look at funding sources, Alison will also look at a generic funding application that we can tailor to the grants we are looking at applying for

Current trustees are James Walsgrove, Dem Roulston, Roger Lander, Nick Antill-Holmes. All happy to continue and we have received no further interest at the present time
