Section D Achievements and performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year

  1. We opened online zoom services to encourage and comfort people suffering from the Covid-19 lockdown.

  2. When we were out for evangelism, we had many opportunities to meet homeless individuals in the streets. We did our best to help them and also were very careful not to give money but to buy them food instead, which we believed the better way of truly helping them.

  3. Two missionaries with Tier 2 Minister of Religion visa, and 4 missionaries with Tier 5 Religious Worker visa joined cross mission and settled down safely and soundly in Newport. They received training courses that Cross Mission had offered. Also, we managed to recruit 3 more potential missionary who has a strong intention to join Cross Mission in 2021.

  4. We have been visited houses in Newport and distributed over 50,000 gospel tracks to comfort and encourage people who were isolated due to the Covid-19 lockdown.
