Trustee Report for the year to November 2025
The second year of the Charity has been busy.
Following on from our discussions regarding a Youth Club, we now have a FREE Youth Club running twice a week and has been a success for all concerned.
The Kids are well behaved, respectful and have good manners which is a credit to their parents and the staff from Transform Communities Staffordshire who provide DBS checked and accredited staff. They are also running 2 other Youth Clubs not connected to ourselves and are actively recruiting further volunteers to assist. They have also set up a Boxing (no contact) Club on a Saturday morning for 7 – 14 yrs old which has also been a success. When the TCSCIC receive funding, they will allocate some funds to us for the use of the building.
We arranged for a Santa Claus to attend the last Youth Club before Christmas where we gave a gift of a selection box for each child, the TCSCIC also gave them a £10 Amazon Voucher from their funding as well as supplying food and drinks on the night.
We still have the Coffee Morning/Book Swap free to all who wish a natter with a cuppa. The Free Yoga is ongoing again FREE via the CRT, but unfortunately, they no longer run the free exercise class.
We are actively looking for funding through various channels with the Treasurer being in charge of sourcing.
