Trustee Report for the year to November 2024
During our first year as New Committee Members we have held 3 Table Top Sales to raise Funds.
At Easter time with the help of a local father we had an Easter Egg Hunt for all the children on the Estate. Many thanks to Dave Bassett, who following the Teddy Bear Picnic joined us as a Committee Member.
We also held a Santa’s Grotto with local children coming to meet Santa and receive a gift (age appropriate)
During the year we have hosted FREE yoga classes arranged by CRT (Coalfields Regeneration Team) and FREE Exercise Classes again from CRT. This was initially by PCN (primary care network) which was taken over by CRT.
We hold a coffee morning with a FREE book swap. Tea/Coffee, and biscuits/toast.
The Alice Charity also uses the centre 1 afternoon a week as a Drop In for those that require assistance
We are in discussions with CRT with a view to beginning a Youth Club. As we do not have the necessary qualifications we are hoping that CRT can assist us in this venture.
