Other Achievements and Performance Instigating a Parkinson's Support Group, Community Fridge and developing the Mens Shed have been significant achievements in 2022. Many more individuals were helped indirectly through our support of, and work with, other organisations e.g., Food Bank. 114 volunteers are registered with us and offered their time to help plan and deliver projects and activities in 2022. 24 regularly attend6d our Good Gri6f Cafè, a total of 299 attendances. 12 people were given help to access the intemet safely at digital inclusion sessions. 26 peop18 have received on&lo-one help from befrienders. We received and processed 805 incoming Calls to the helpline. 21 men regularly attend Ludlow Men, Shed (plus volunteers) and 25 people received help and support though social prascribing activities. 354 lifts were provided to HTL events, giving access for those who mtght otherwise have been excluded. 356 withdrawals were made from our Community Fridge, opened in November. amounting lo 800kg offood distributed. 18 hardship grants have been made. A centrally located building has been taken on, raising awareness of, and facilitating access to, our services. I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the CIO for the year ended 31 December 2022.

Responsibilities and basis of report

As the charity trustees of the CIO you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (‘the Act’).

I report in respect of my examination of the CIO’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

Independent examiner’s statement

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect:

  1. accounting records were not kept in respect of the CIO as required by section 130 of the Act; or

  2. the accounts do not accord with those records.

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
