The charity forms part of the confederation of BASICS North
West working closely with them and under most of their
clinical governance structures.

The relief of sickness among people within the geographical
counties of Lancashire, and Greater Manchester by
providing immediate medical care and treatment at the
scene of an incident as directed by the North West
Ambulance Service.
No activities undertaken this financial year due to the
ongoing difficulties around recruitment of volunteers, further
impacted by the continuing global pandemic, also additional
potential changes in the makeup of the confederation.

The charity has continued to suffer difficulties in recruiting
additional trustees and volunteers to help support their
activities, this has been in the form of job adverts and direct
contact to gain expressions of interest.
