We started the year with a successful Festiva at the pump track in April. Joe and Kayleigh came along again and were as busy as always, coachin& entertaining and encouraging everyone. This event was run as a Welsh Cycling supported Festiva, which meant that we received a small grant towards costs and Ffion Jame5 from Welsh Cycling attended with a promotion pack that included prizes for the races. In September we held our Bike Bash again. Unfortunately we were unlucky with the weather- there was a yellow weather warning for rain (we did have a pause in the showers in the middle of the day). We had set ourselves the target of riding the distance competed during the Olympics and Para-olympics, 1083 miles over 339 events! but for the first time ever we failed ! So we have a target to reach next year! Surprisingly we had 90 oiclists sign up despite the rain and managed 937 miles.
