The objects of MAM UK, for the public benefit of people in Myanmar (and any other regions the trustees may see fit from time to time), are: (1) the relief of sickness and the preservation of health; and (2) the relief of need, hardship and distress. |

| During the period under review, having regard to guidance issued by the Charity Commission on Public Benefit, the Trustees made donations to Medical Action Myanmar (MAM), which is registered as a charitable organisation with the Chamber of Commerce in Amsterdam under number 34345953. MAM is a medical aid organisation established in 2009, whose mission is to improve access to health care for the poorest people living in Myanmar. MAM supports a network of Community Health Workers to provide health care in some of the most remote villages in Myanmar, and operates static clinics both in rural areas and in the poorest parts of the capital, Yangon. |

Section C Note - Related Party Transaction
During the yeear the charity shipped a donated X-Ray machine to Myanmar. Nordic Group Myanmar Ltd (Nordic), a company of which Giles Middleton is a director and shareholder, shipped the unit from UK to Myanmar and arranged import at a cost of £4,063. The Trustees explored a number of options and chose Nordic because they offered the best rate.
