One of our main aims this year has been to develop a COVKI re8pon8e to offer supm to many
families who have struggled to feed themselves wtth the challenges gNen by the pandemi
affecting abilty to eam ￿)neY and we have managed to offer support lo 100$ of families

Last year we were onty able to run a 2-week sumnw wogram due to funding shortages.
After the summer school finished all the students retumèd on world literacy day with their

t￿k part in various actrrfities.. induding debates, speeches. poety reading and drama to
relnfrirce the message ab)ut EduCat￿n. They were joined by the Gunjur Scouts, Band and by
our Womens Literacy Group the leader of the gn)up Mrs Mai Jassey and a retired Head
Teacher Mr Lamin Jabang spoke about the importancE of lileraGy and. Mr Jabang encouraged
parents lo send their chihjren to school and advised the students to take their lessons

We have contiiued to offer supp)rt and gUIdan￿ to Gunjur Youth For Hea￿h- this group was
started with student nurses and heamh trainee5 Sp￿SOred by GPA- they are actfve in going
out to their corrmunities to gfve free heaAh checks {blood pressure and blood 8ugar)- they
have run program8 on the radio encouraging people to get he8tth checks and change their
diet to be safe. Vle are very w)ud to have Initiat￿ the start of thls group that have saved
many lives
Kajabang 8POrts acadery- we have been able to asslsl the volunteers that run it to hav8
training and to enable young students to take part in k)cal toumaments.
We are continuing with women's literaGy I development group 88 well a8 the literaoy they have
béen dolng som8 stiwing plus we had a vistl fr(xn a lady from Holland who shar8d how to
make jew81ry using shells making thlngs tw can 8ell which will give th8ir further
linancHI security.

The Trustees consider that It Is not necessary to ueate reserves 8ince thè charity ha$ no
liabilities (other than to complete current projects, as to whth see below), and any
expenses are met ty the Gunjur Project Lodge. with whlch the charity has a Merrx)randum
of ASS￿latIOn.

The board of trustees is satlsfied that the fund8 are availablè and adequate to fv[r￿ the
obligations of each fund or proie¢a.
The tharftys prln¢ipal source offund8 are donations and grants. The MaJ￿ity of donations
to GPA are ring-fenced to a particukr famityl stud8nV project.
Future plans.. we are develowg GPA Communty Hub which will include commun
kitchen. IT sulte and tralning rOOff￿ vthere trainlng for the communty take place.
