The NCBA has continued to struggle to attract players to it’s events post covid, this situation has been repeated across other counties in the country. The 2023 NCBA Congress was held in spring and played face to face; although numbers were down on pre-covid levels there were enough players entered so that the congress did not lose money.
During the year the NCBA has supported teaching initiatives in Wymondham and Long Stratton, provided free to enter events for players to encourage more participation. The NCBA will continue to nurture bridge within the county and provide whatever assistance is necessary to facilitate this.
