Due to the Covid situation and lockdown, Bridge players have not returned to full playing attendance.  The County has offered advice and help to Clubs to encourage their return.  Competitions have been run to provide facilities for play – both online and face-to-face.  For some of these we have offered free entry to encourage participation. 

We have run a Bridge Congress online jointly with Cumbria for our members and visitors 

A survey was sent to Clubs to find out what was needed and the suggestions have been followed up. 

The County is lending support and publicity to those Clubs who are running teaching courses for beginners and players wanting improvement.
