ThetrusteeswhoarealsodirectorsofthecharityforthepurposesoftheCompaniesAct2006,present their
reportwiththefinancialstatementsofthecharityfortheyearended31July2021.Thetrusteeshave adopted
theprovisionsofAccountingandReportingbyCharities:StatementofRecommendedPracticeapplicable to
charitiespreparingtheiraccountsinaccordancewiththeFinancialReportingStandardapplicableintheUK and
Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (effective 1 January 2019).
OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES
Objectives and aims
InspiringGirlsInternationalLimitedwasconceivedtoadvanceforthepublicbenefittheeducationofyoung girls
aroundtheworldwiththegoalofraisingtheiraspirationsandencouragingthemtoaimhigh.The campaign
aimstopromote,sustainandincreaseindividualandcollectiveknowledgeofyounggirls(aged10-15 years)
throughlocalandinternationalcampaignswhichaimatconnectinggirlswithfemalerolemodelsand exposing
girls to a variety of jobs, roles and options in life.
Thecampaignalsoaimstodevelopawarenessandunderstandingofyounggirlsabouttheiracademic and
individualcapabilitiesthroughdeliveringeducationaltalksatschools,face-to-facediscussionsand other
educationalevents.Inordertoextendthereachofthecampaignasfaraspossible,InspiringGirlsaims to
provideandpromotethefreeexchangeoftechnologyandknow-howbydevelopingadigitallibraryand software
applicationsavailabletogirlsaroundtheworld,including,inparticular,girlsinareasorcountrieswith limited
access to female role models.

OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES
Significant activities
Ineachcountryinourglobalnetwork,wesetupInspiringGirlswithanationalpartner.Thatpartner manages
thelocalcampaign,recruitingwomentovolunteerasrolemodels,promotingInspiringGirlstoschools, and
coordinating events for groups of women and girls. The Inspiring Girls campaign now operates in:

ongoingCovid-19pandemic,InspiringGirlswasproudtowelcomeninenewglobalteamstoits network:
Australia,Algeria,Belgium,Guatemala,Jersey,Poland,Portugal,Russia,andSwitzerland.TheIG Young
AmbassadorsNetworkwasestablishedattheendof2020withahighlyengagedcohortofgirls representing
theircountriesandthecharitysuperblyacrossarangeofactivitiestofurtherthegoalsofthecampaign.And to
markInternationalDayoftheGirl2021,thecharitylauncheditslargestglobaldigitalcampaigntodate -
#ThisLittleGirlIsMe-toincreasethevisibilityandaccessibilityforgirlsofstoriessharedbyamazingwomen role
models on social media.
TheTrusteesarealsopleasedtoreportthatthecharityenteredintonewthree-yearpartnership agreements
withToyotaMotorEurope(April2021)andFedrigoni(June2021).Bothagreementsincludering-fenced funding
for agreed activities with selected global teams in areas of geographic interest for our new corporate partners.

ACHIEVEMENT AND PERFORMANCE
Charitable activities
2021marksthecharity'sfifthyearofoperationwithmorenewcountryteamson-boardinginthefirstquarter of
theyearthaninanysingleyearpriorsincethecharity'sestablishment.Thecampaignisnowactivein 28
countries,asnotedintheparagraphheaded"SignificantActivities".Despitethecontinueddisruption to
in-personeventsforgirlsinschoolsduetotheCovid-19pandemic,IGglobalteamsdeliveredabroadrange of
localactivitiesincludingin-depththematicworkshopsforgirls,digitaltalksandonlineeventswithrole models.
Overthecourseof2021theIGglobalteamscollectivelyheld835events,reached55,089girlsand registered
2,244volunteerrolemodels.Questionnairesandinterviewscompletedaftereventshelpusmonitor and
measure the impact of our activities.
GirlsareattheheartofeverythingInspiringGirlsdoesasacharity,andwewanttoheartheirvoices and
thoughtsateverylevelofthecampaign.Inthisvein,theIGYoungAmbassadorsNetworkwasestablished in
September2020toadviseandsupporttheglobalcampaignbyinvolvinggirlsindiscussionsand activities
throughouttheyear.Fifteengirlsagedbetween11-16yearswereselectedforYoungAmbassadorroles from
nominationsputforwardbytheIGglobalteams.Afterasuccessfulfirstyear,nominationswerere-opened to
our global network for the second cohort of Young Ambassadors, who began their annual term in October 2021.
InJuly2021,InspiringGirlsannouncedtheappointmentofpresidentandCEOofAmericasSociety/Councilof the
Americas,SusanSegalasitsfirstGlobalAmbassador.Thecharitywillinitiallyaimacross2022-23toappoint up
tosixAmbassadorsofinternationalprofileandinfluence,andwhoreflectthebroaddiversityofthe Inspiring
Girls network, to act as senior advocates for the campaign.
TomarkInternationalDayoftheGirl2021,InspiringGirlslaunchedanewglobaldigital campaign,
#ThisLittleGirlIsMetomakewomenrolemodelseasilyavailabletogirlsonsocialmediabyflooding our
Instagramfeedwithinspirationalwomensharingtheirstoriesthatgirlscanfollow.Thecampaignreached over
48 million people around the world on Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook.
Ourlocalcountryteampartnershavecontinuedtodemonstrateinnovationintheirengagementwith campaign
audiencestoadvocateforInspiringGirlsandfurtherstrengthenvolunteerandothersupportnetworks; for
example,corporatetownhallsledbyIGHongKongcoveringkeyissuesaddressedbythecampaign, thematic
clubandsummercampactivitiesforgirlsorganisedbyIGSpain,andIGBrazil'spartnershipwiththe education
ministryandpublicschoolsnetworktofacilitatetrainingactivitiesfor'youngvolunteers'todeveloptheir soft
skills and computing skills.
InadditiontothepartnershipagreementssignedwithToyotaMotorEuropeandFedrigoniin2021,asnoted in
theparagraphheaded"SignificantActivities",therearefurtherdiscussionsongoingwithseveralnew global
partnerswhoarecommittedtoengagewithactivitiesofimpactinmultiplelocationswhereInspiringGirls is
active.Tohelpsustainablymanagethesegrowingandmorecomplexpartnershipagreements,thecharity hired
adedicatedPartnershipsDirectorinOctober2021toeffectivelymanagepartnerrelationships,oversee the
expansionofthecharity'sfundingstreamsanddevelopcentralfundraisingtoolsandresourcestohelp empower
new IG global teams in their approach to local fundraising goals.
Lookingaheadto2022,thecharity'sstrategicobjectiveswillfocusonactivitiesthat(i)effectively manage
deliveryoftheambitiousmulti-regionpartnershipagreementsanticipatedforthecomingyear,(ii)capitalise on
thesuccessof#ThisLittleGirlIsMeforincreasedaudienceengagementandsupportgenerationacross all
communicationschannels,(iii)supportstrategicgeographicexpansionoftheInspiringGirlscampaign,and (iv)
expandtheVideoHubresourcetoplugsectorgaps.Thecharitywillbefurthersupportedinthedeliveryof its
projectsandcommunicationsobjectiveswiththehiringofaDigitalCommunityEngagementOfficerin early
2022.

FINANCIAL REVIEW
Financial position
TheTrusteesaresatisfiedwiththeperformanceoftheCharityfortheyearandwiththefinancialpositionat 31
July 2021.
Reserves policy
Attheendof2020thetrusteesagreedtheestablishmentofareserveof£10,000onceaminimumof threshold
issustainedinthecharity'scurrentaccountfora3-monthperiod.Ayearon,thegrowing operational
requirementsofthecharity'sprogrammaticactivitiesre-openedadiscussionofthecashreserve,and agreement
on the proposal to increase the reserve threshold to £20,000.

('the 2006 Act').
HavingsatisfiedmyselfthattheaccountsoftheCompanyarenotrequiredtobeauditedunderPart16of the

Sinceyourcharity'sgrossincomeexceeded£250,000yourexaminermustbeamemberofalistedbody.I can
confirmthatIamqualifiedtoundertaketheexaminationbecauseIamaregisteredmemberofICAEWwhich is
one of the listed bodies.
Ihavecompletedmyexamination.Iconfirmthatnomattershavecometomyattentioninconnectionwith the
examination giving me cause to believe:
1. accounting records were not kept in respect of the Company as required by section 386 of the 2006 Act; or
2. the accounts do not accord with those records; or
3. the accounts do not comply with the accounting requirements of section 396 of the 2006 Act other than any requirement that the accounts give a true and fair view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination; or

1. ACCOUNTING POLICIES
Basis of preparing the financial statements
Thefinancialstatementsofthecharitablecompany,whichisapublicbenefitentityunderFRS102, have
beenpreparedinaccordancewiththeCharitiesSORP(FRS102)'AccountingandReportingby Charities:
StatementofRecommendedPracticeapplicabletocharitiespreparingtheiraccountsinaccordance with
theFinancialReportingStandardapplicableintheUKandRepublicofIreland(FRS102)(effective 1
January2019)',FinancialReportingStandard102'TheFinancialReportingStandardapplicableinthe UK
andRepublicofIreland'andtheCompaniesAct2006.Thefinancialstatementshavebeen prepared
under the historical cost convention.
Income
AllincomeisrecognisedintheStatementofFinancialActivitiesoncethecharityhasentitlementto the
funds, it is probable that the income will be received and the amount can be measured reliably.
DonatedservicesandfacilitiesareincludedintheSOFAwhenreceivedatthevalueofthegiftto the
charity provided the value of the gift can be measured reliably.
Donatedservicesandfacilitiesthatareconsumedimmediatelyarerecognisedasincomewith an
equivalent amount recognised as an expense under the appropriate heading in the SOFA.
Expenditure
Liabilitiesarerecognisedasexpenditureassoonasthereisalegalorconstructiveobligation committing
thecharitytothatexpenditure,itisprobablethatatransferofeconomicbenefitswillberequired in
settlementandtheamountoftheobligationcanbemeasuredreliably.Expenditureisaccountedforon an
accrualsbasisandhasbeenclassifiedunderheadingsthataggregateallcostrelatedtothe category.
Wherecostscannotbedirectlyattributedtoparticularheadingstheyhavebeenallocatedtoactivities on
a basis consistent with the use of resources.
Grantsofferedsubjecttoconditionswhichhavenotbeenmetattheyearenddatearenotedas a
commitment but not accrued as expenditure.
Intangible assets
Intangibleassetscompriseexpenditureonthewebsite.Thewebsitehasanestimatedusefullifeof three
years.
Taxation
The charity is exempt from corporation tax on its charitable activities.
Fund accounting
Unrestrictedfundscanbeusedinaccordancewiththecharitableobjectivesatthediscretionof the
trustees.
Restrictedfundscanonlybeusedforparticularrestrictedpurposeswithintheobjectsofthe charity.
Restrictions arise when specified by the donor or when funds are raised for particular restricted purposes.
Pension costs and other post-retirement benefits
Thecharitablecompanyoperatesadefinedcontributionpensionscheme.Contributionspayableto the
charitablecompany'spensionschemearechargedtotheStatementofFinancialActivitiesintheperiod to
which they relate.

lifeexperiencestobroadentheunderstandingforgirlsoftherangeofdifferentjobswithineachsector as
wellasthevarietyofcareerpathsthatarepossible.TheVideoHubremovesthegeographicbarrier for
girlstoaccesstheadviceofwomenrolemodelsthroughtheInspiringGirlscampaign.These contributions
havebeenmadefreeofcharge,andassuchnoincomehasbeenrecognizedintheaccountsfrom the
provision of this valuable resource.

14. OTHER FINANCIAL COMMITMENTS
At31July2021thecharityhadenteredintocommitmentsamountingto£211,827inrespectof funding
forlocalteams.Thesecommitments,extendinguntil31July2024,arecontingentonthereceipt of
reciprocal inward donations to the charity from existing partners.
15. RELATED PARTY DISCLOSURES
Duringtheperiod1August2020to31July2021probonolegaladviceandsupportwasprovided by
DechertLLP.MsM.Gonzalez,oneofthetrustees,wasapartnerinthisfirmuntil31December2018. This
support has been valued at £109,851
From1August2020to31July2021officespace,administrationsupportandfacilitieswereprovided by
Cohen&GresserLLP.Thevalueofthisservicewas£35,000.Ms.M.GonzalezisOfCounselinCohen &
Gresser LLP.
Allamountsenumeratedintheforegoingparagraphshavebeenrecognizedintheaccountsin accordance
with the disclosed policy for donated services and facilities.
IncludedinIncomefromDonationsduringtheyearended31July2021areamountstotalling £2,500
donated to the charity in lieu of fees payable to Ms M. Gonzalez.
16. GOING CONCERN
The trustees have considered the financial circumstances of the charity at the end of the reporting period.
Atthebalancesheetdatethecharityhadtotalfundsamountingto£121,090andit'scashposition was
£101,249.
Thetrusteesremainconfidentthatthecharitywillbeabletocontinuetomeetitsliabilitiesasthey fall
due.
