Section D Achievements and performance
Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
-
Christ Assemblies continues to welcome people from all back grounds, race and nationality. Every Sunday and Wednesday, Church doors are open, and ministers of the gospel are always ready to welcome and minister to its members. Due to this welcoming spirit, we have seen steady flow of new members each week, some will come only once but they testify the goodness of the Lord regardless. Old members and their families remain steadfast and continue to come week in week out and have matured enough to help and support new members and their families. Excellent biblical teachings mean that members alert others in the community and each week we receive phone calls asking for help and enlightenment. Again, due to popularity many social media platforms, we can reach out to hundreds of locals and others from abroad.
-
Christ Assemblies continue to provide great pastoral care as we have three Pastors in our local church. This has enabled us to meet our obligations which says that to relieve mental distress and provide a source of relief, comfort and spiritual guidance. All our members including new members have contact details for each Pastor and this gives them confidence that they can receive help or support at any time. As for locals who have never attended our Church services, there are contact details displayed on our Church building, which makes it possible and easy to receive support at a time they need it most.
-
Christ Assemblies continue to attract many locals and nationalities to join our Church services online, not only in England and Wales but also Africa and United Staes of America. This has provided as a source of encouragement and comfort as we know the good news of our Lord Jesus is spread all over.
-
We continue to provide home visits services at the request of each member. This is a great service as members feel valued, supported and contended.
-
As well as offering Church services, teachings and preaching of the gospel, we have continued celebrating our members’ life’s milestones, such as birthdays and baby dedications.
-
Christ Assemblies United Kingdom has as far as possible, maintained the support needed by our sister assemblies abroad, like proper governing documents, teachings, financial and moral support.
