Swadlincote Festival of Transport CIO1171741

Annual Report

Swadlincote Festival of Transport CIO, a grant-giving charity working in South Derbyshire and North West Leicestershire, and the wider Midland area to provide events that support the local community.

Chair Report

2020-2021, was a difficult year with the global pandemic locking the country down, sadly this meant we were not able to hold any events, and therefore limited to the support we were able to offer out to local charities and community groups. We were limited with the work that could be carried out on our ‘Bus Project’.

We are looking forward to being able to re-starting regular club meetings, and did very quickly manage to put together a show in September 2021.

We are looking at options for supporting the community in an varied way in the future.

Financial Report

In a year with no social gatherings, Swadlincote Festival Transport was unable to raise any money, it was a stagnant year. However, the regular outgoing’s for banking, web site and insurance still had to be met by the charity.

There is nothing financial to report other than that detailed within the report.
