through partnerships with Tops Day

Team. The charity continued its role as the
UK coordinator for the OMEP EfSC Awards
and contributed to the DfE Greening
Schools Initiative.
Collaborative university research
progressed on sustainable childcare
solutions, including the establishment of
laundry hubs.
The GECCO website was upgraded to
include a resource library, and social media
engagement increased via Facebook,
Instagram, LinkedIn, and BlueSky.
In 2025, GECCO plans to publish
academic outputs from research on
sustainable childcare practices, pilot the
Southsea laundry hub, and continue the
OMEP EfSC Awards expansion. Further
development of the GECCO website and
funding applications to sustainability grant
