The charity’s principal activity, the trustees having had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit, is the making of donations to the above mentioned charity, 'EXPERIENCE THE REAL AFRICA' (ETRA (UGANDA)).

The activities of ETRA Uganda are reported back to ETRA UK by the trustees of that charity, and regular financial updates are received. Site visits are also made and reported on when possible.

achievements of the charity
during the year

As in the prior year, the charity co-ordinated donations received
with activities carried out by ETRA (Uganda), in addition to
continuing to raise awareness of ETRA (Uganda) in the UK

The new classroom block constructed by ETRA (Uganda) was
completed. The charity was pleased to contribute additionally to
the purchase of new classroom furniture for the new building.

A new website was created to showcase the school in Mityana.

The school itself remained closed due to Covid.
