|Para 1.20|**By the end of 2023 15 groups were open**<br>**throughout the UK. A new one had**<br>**opened in Sandbach, Cheshire but the**<br>**one in Worcester  Park, Surrey had been**<br>**temporarily closed because of the need**<br>**to find a new Group Leader.**<br>**A number of newsletters and magazines**<br>**were produced throughout the year.**<br>**These were circulated, by email and, in**<br>**hard copy( as appropriate), to volunteers,**<br>**members of groups and other people**<br>**connected with Conquest.**<br>**For reasons of cost the annual exhibition**<br>**for 2023 was held on the Conquest**<br>**website.**<br>**During the year the Charity Coordinator**<br>**organised a number of very successful**<br>**Zoom meetings where group leaders**<br>**could discuss various issues with her**<br>**and with each other. Separate meetings**<br>**were arranged for the leaders of the**<br>**groups in the different areas.**<br>**Conquest Trustees took part in 3 outside**<br>**events. All were organised by Age**<br>**UK.Two were Dementia Workshops and**<br>**the other a Wellbeing Fair held in Epsom,**<br>**Surrey.**|

1. The total value of the investment in the Charifund Account with CAF as at 31st December 2023 was £30,653; the unrealised gain of £653 is not reflected in these Accounts.
