Financial Review
| Review of the charity’s financial position at the end of the period |
At 31 December 2024, the charity had cash funds of £71,354. It also had liabilities of £1,800, being accrued independent examination fees covering the 2023 and 2024 accounts. The trustees believe that reserves are at a sufficient level to provide the funds to fulfil the objectives of the charity; in particular, monetary support is offered for applications for setting up Registries, research projects and the provision of patient information through web hosting and printed materials. Discussions have also been held regarding the possibility of the Association running its own courses and study days, which would require significant investment. |

| Explanation of any uncertainties about the charity continuing as a going concern |
There are no going concern issues of which the trustees are aware. Assets and liabilities are at a level which enable us to continue to pursue our prime objectives and activities. |
