financial position at the end
of the period

£71,354. It also had liabilities of £1,800, being accrued
independent examination fees covering the 2023 and 2024
accounts.
The trustees believe that reserves are at a sufficient level
to provide the funds to fulfil the objectives of the charity; in
particular, monetary support is offered for applications for
setting up Registries, research projects and the provision
of patient information through web hosting and printed
materials. Discussions have also been held regarding the
possibility of the Association running its own courses and
study days, which would require significant investment.
