Performance
During the period, there were 2 grants awarded. These grants were associated with an ambitious local project in Winchcombe called Isbourne Arts.
Isbourne Arts (formerly known as Winchcombe Arts Community Hub) is located in the former Methodist church in the centre of Winchcombe. It is being transformed into a vibrant multi-purpose venue for a wide and diverse range of performing art activities and creative workshops for the local community.

Initial Seed Capital £5,001
In order to kick the project off the charity required funds to instruct a professional fundraiser and an architectural consultant specialising in performance space who provided the initial concept scheme for fitting out the Church as a performance venue which we directly funded.
In addition, there were significant costs involved in the bid and purchase process to which we contributed. In total we made an initial donation of £5,001.
Donation towards purchase of the building £15,000
The Booth Foundation provided these funds on the understanding that if the bid were unsuccessful, they would be returned. The purchase price was in excess of £300,000 and was raised with a mixture of donations from local residents and grants.
Outlook for 2024
One of the main aims is to support local organisations and the trustees will continue to review all requests for donations accordingly.
Financial review
The charity had no assets or known liabilities at the period end.
During 2023 the charity spent £20,001 on 2 grant awards as listed previously. The charity incurred bank charges of £482 during the period, there were no other expenses. No further income or expenditure was made during 2023.
No funds were or are held as a custodian on behalf of others.
Public benefit statement
The trustees confirm that they have complied with their duty to have due regard to the guidance on public benefit published by the Charity Commission in exercising their powers or duties.
