Objectives & Activities
The objects of our charity are:
- To advance such charitable purposes (according to the law of England and Wales) as the trustees see fit from time to time for the public benefit in particular, but not limited to advancing the health, education and opportunities for people by making grants and awards to people living in extreme poverty or suffering hardship in any part of the world
Our main activities during the year have been:

To maintain communications with our contacts in Malawi to identify ways in which our charity can help theirs

In the UK, to tell people about our experiences and the needs of Pashello

To collect donations and to forward them monthly to Pashello in order to provide food for the children and salaries for the staff

When needed, to consider requests for additional monies
The trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit
Achievements & Performance
During 2022 we have:

Increased our social media presence by recruiting more volunteers to work on the Reach Foundation UK Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts.

Increased fundraising capability through working with volunteers in the US.

Expanded the Reach Foundations project areas by researching and collaborating with partners in rural Rajasthan, India.

Raised funds for the development of projects in Rajasthan, India, starting with the building of a well in Nal, Rajasthan, India.

Monitored and evaluated all feeding programs in Malawi both in the villages and Ngabu Rural Hospital.

Continued to sell T-shirts online to help with fundraising efforts.

Initiated a voluntary media group that aims to share photographs, videos, and up-to-date information sent directly from the project areas.

Continued to maintain and update the Reach Foundation UK’s website

Increased the number of regular donors

For the seventh year running we have sent money for the Staff and Children of Pashello to have a Christmas party
Financial Review

We are holding a reserve in our account for funding larger projects. We aim to hold a minimum of £2000 in reserve at any one time to enable us to help in times of crisis. We are holding a significant financial buffer at the moment which we have begun spending on starting new feeding projects.

None of our funds are materially in deficit
