Activities

The primary aim of Ore CLT is to acquire land in Speckled Wood, in the Ore Valley, Hastings to create a community woodland and work with other organisations and recruit volunteers to enhance and manage the woodland and to develop projects such as footpaths, a greenway and a village green. Ore CLT is also keen to help to improve other green spaces in the Hastings area for recreation and leisure.

Objects: To Further Or Benefit The Residents Of Hastings And The Neighbourhood, Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Race Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions By Associating Together The Said Residents And The Local Authorities, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure Time Occupation In Green Spaces In The Area Of Benefit, With The Objective Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Residents.
