Events: because of the COVD-19<br>pandemic the main events of the church<br>during the year divide into three periods.<br>A.) October 2020.<br>Meeting in person on Sundays according to<br>strict government guidelines. This<br>necessitated two Sunday morning services.<br>It was not possible to run the normal<br>activities for children at this time. Adult<br>Sunday School took place on Sunday<br>evenings via streaming and Zoom. The<br>midweek meeting took place via Zoom.<br>B) November 2020 to June 2021.<br>Running a reduced programme remotely<br>via streaming and Zoom. This included a<br>Sunday morning service, Sunday evening<br>prayer and online community groups.<br>C) July 2021 to September 2021.<br>Opening up again for a single Sunday<br>morning service and creche for younger<br>children, together with a central prayer<br>meeting. Adult and children’s’ Sunday<br>School and local community groups to be<br>reintroduced from October 2021,|





|||All meetings are open to all. Despite<br>necessary closures due to COVID,<br>numbers have grown over the year.<br>Publicity is through the church website,<br>print material and word of mouth. The<br>Trustees remain acutely aware of the need<br>to find a larger venue. A possible location<br>was explored during the year but proved<br>unsuitable.<br>2. Employment of a Trainee Minister, on a<br>two year contract. The future appointment<br>of an Associate Minister is being actively<br>investigated.<br>3. Further fund raising to enable the growth<br>of the church.<br>4. Alleviation of hardship within the church<br>and the City of Leeds, and further afield by<br>means of a collection at each Sunday<br>morning service. This has been restricted<br>because of the inability to meet for large<br>parts of the year.|

|Review of the charity’s<br>financial position at the end<br>of the period|Para 1.21|At the end of this financial year, total<br>receipts were £106,692.<br>This figure included internal giving<br>amounting to £59,872 plus Gift Aid.<br>Payments amounted to £102,273 Major<br>costs included the Minister’s stipend and<br>rental of accommodation required for the<br>fulfilling of his duties, together with venue<br>rental for Sunday activities, although due to<br>the effects of COVID this latter figure was<br>reduced when compared to previous years.|
