The aim of the church is to glorify God and to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ who is the Head of the Church and which is his Body. This objective will be pursued in the following ways:a.) By the undiluted Word of God, corporate worship, prayer and praise.b.) By seeking to proclaim to the whole world the gospel of Jesus Christ through faith in Christ alone.
Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:1) To Advance The Christian Religion In The Metropolitan District Of Leeds For The Benefit Of The Public Through The Holding Of Church Meetings, Lectures And Seminars, Other Methods Of Including Social Media And Electronic Communications To Enlighten Others About The Christian Religion.2) The Prevention Or Relief Of Poverty In The Metropolitan District Of Leeds, Especially Armley By Providing Services To Individuals In Need.3) To Promote And Protect The Physical And Mental Health Of Homeless People In The Metropolitan District Of Leeds, Especially Armley Through The Provision Of Support And Practical Advice.4) To Advance In Life And Relieve The Needs Of Those In Need By Reason Of Youth, Age, Ill Health, Disability, Financial Hardship And Other Disadvantages Through Providing Support And Activities Which Develop Their Skills, Capacities And Capabilities To Enable Them To Participate In Society As Mature And Responsible Individuals.
