**Objects:** 1) TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH OF CHILDREN, YOUNG PEOPLE AND THEIR FAMILIES LIVING IN THE YORK AREA, WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED BEREAVEMENT OR LOSS BY THE PROVISION OF COUNSELLING AND SUPPORT AND RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES PROVIDED IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE, DESIGNED TO IMPROVE THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE.2) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE SUBJECT OF THE EFFECTS OF BEREAVEMENT AND LOSS ON CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE.

**Activities:** We seek to support bereaved children, young people and their families living in the York area so that they are better able to cope with the impact of grief on their lives. We do this by running monthly peer support drop-in sesssions, offering a 1:1 therapeutic support service for those children who need it as well as recreational activities, a parental support group and training days for schools.
