The impact of Explorers & Ad¥￿tUre¥s on lamilies In Radstock was profound wth activities improving social
n¢twork$. Conn￿￿on5. providing creative insFiration and develO￿ng children's speech and language skills, Well,

Throughout the year Sound Lab Provided Aats Award accredited music compwtion workshops tor young pèople
{14+1 who are neurodivergent and who live crf g) to 5chcd in Radstoc&. Frome. Bath and Midsomer Norton. Wagkly
sessions happened onlinè and these **re supwrted by taster music *fjrkshops In SEN schools and a summer
school provision. In February 2022. we ¥htre al80 delighted to review the extemal evaluation for Sound Lab whlch
ag8in highlighted the gaps in d¢vèlopment and commuiwty bas8(l actiwtie5 for young people vAth neuTological
differen¢8s, with one parent commenting, 'Honestty. the sesSi¢m￿ were possibly the best thing that has happened
for my 50n for a crjuple 01 years. It has been 80 difficull lo find ary 8ctivrty that *e can take part in and yet you
achieved thi$ and made him so wèlcome. He loves dl sryts ofmuslc aTrJ sony$ and to combine thi5 ￿ thg char￿e
to spend tlme vAlh other young adults was fanlastic!,
The impacts of the Explfftrs & Adventurers 8nd Sound Lab sessions in Bath & North East Somèrset led Its the
launch of $imilar pilot projects in and around Fyymauth. This ￿'10t V•rrk has allvwed us to extend our eo<reation
appioach lo new communities and build new partngTships. In 2022-2023 wo will b8 ev8luating theso pllot proJocts
aftd 8$8èssing h¢)w what we h¥ve1oamod wtll infomi our fvture programme.
During 2021 we crjmplèted thè final eommunty music snd storyi8llirvJ ges$ion8 for older people li￿Tr9 In care
settings though Sound Store. Launched during Ihe first year of the pandemic as part of Evolve Music's Covid
resptsnse a¢tith"es. Sound Store engaged older pe(yle in Imghquality sound and MUSK rerniniscence $8$8ion8
onllne.

development of the communty musie sector was fealised throu9h nèknrking and tralning events we hosted
