Trustee Report for the period ending 31/01/2025
During this reporting period, the Trustees reviewed the charity’s progress in line with the decisions made last year and continued to oversee the development of TEIR’s digital-first outreach strategy. The focus remained on strengthening the charity’s ability to distribute beneficial Islamic resources efficiently, accessibly, and at scale.
Progress against Last Year’s Decisions
Following the Trustees’ resolutions from the previous year, the following actions were successfully completed:

Electronic resources were formally adopted as the core content of the TEIR site , ensuring that all materials are accessible, consistent, and easy to distribute.

Approved content was uploaded to the site , making it available for public use.

The TEIR website was left in its current design as both a resource hub and a distribution platform , enabling users to access materials directly and independently.

One QR-based link was made for the whole web allowing quick access through mobile devices and simplifying distribution.

Cards, stickers, and posters featuring the QR code were printed , ensuring that the charity’s outreach materials are clear, professional, and easy to use.

A portion of these printed materials was distributed to selected mosques
These steps collectively strengthened TEIR’s ability to reach wider audiences while maintaining a low-cost, high-impact model.
Use of Funds
In accordance with the Trustees’ decision, available funds were used to support the following essential activities:

Website hosting and maintenance , ensuring the TEIR platform remains stable, secure, and accessible.

Printing of QR-based outreach stickers, and posters.
There was no any general operational expenses , covering necessary administrative and logistical costs associated with the charity’s work Incurred this year. .

Forward Looking
As a result of several trustees experiencing significant increases in personal and professional commitments, reducing the time they can dedicate to the governance, oversight, and operational support required for TEIR’s continued development, the trustees have instructed the chair to explore the possibility of a merger with a similar local charity that could guarantee:

An increased community reach and impact

Reduces duplication of effort

Strengthens operational capacity

Improves long-term sustainability
-
Preserves and enhances TEIR’s digital resource model
The Trustees emphasise that this exploration is being undertaken in the best interests of TEIR’s beneficiaries and with a commitment to transparency, due diligence, and alignment with Charity Commission guidance. Also the board will assess the potential merger carefully to ensure that any integration would strengthen, rather than diminish, the work TEIR was established to deliver and will report any decisions or activities in this regard.
