Activities
The Foundation operates in an area of 60 villages in rural north Malawi. It's objective is to create a sustainable model of self-development that will enable this community of 20,000 people to be independent of international aid with a few years. The main method is to help people start and grow small businesses, with part of the profit allocated to a Social Action Fund under community control.
Objects: 1. The Relief Of Poverty Anywhere In The World By Providing Or Assisting In The Provision Of Education, Training, Healthcare Projects And All The Necessary Support Designed To Enable Individuals To Generate A Sustainable Income And Be Self-Sufficient.2. For Public Benefit, To Advance Education, In Particular, Through Resource Training And Life-Long Learning So As To Advance And Promote Capacity In Personal Financial Management And Business And Financial Literacy By Developing Individuals’ Capabilities, Competences, Skills And Understanding.3. To Develop The Capacity And Skills Of The Members Of A Socially And Economically Disadvantaged Community In Such A Way That They Are Better Able To Identify, And Help Meet, Their Needs And To Participate More Fully In Society.
