OBJECTIVES AND ACTivrriES
Obje¢tiv¢s and aims
The PuTtKises of the Church, are set out in Paragraph 3 of the Constithtion.
The advancement of the Christian faith ill accoTdance with the Basis of Faith. pnmarily. but not ex¢lusii'¢ly, within
Llandudno and the surrounding neighbourtLood'. and such other Ch￿l￿ble purw>ses, as shall ll) the opinion of th¢ ¢bari
tTUStees. facilitate the work of the Fellowship. provided that such purtM)ses must be CWTied out in 8 m8nn¢r consistent
with the Basis of Faith. (3.1.1 & 3.1.2)
The purposes of the church as stated above. are fulfilled in a nurnber of ways. The Church primarily achieves these
punx>ses through its core activities. These activities are: Sunday morning worship services (which usually include a
separate children's work-), a regular youth Bible study every other Sunday evening, mid-week meetings and small home
groups that meet in a variety of locations to thdy scripture together and pnry. The Church also holds outreach events
throughout the year to reach out into the community WAth the Gospel of Jesus Chri*.
Public benefit
The TTUStees have taken account of th¢ Charity con￿liSsi0n's guidance on publkc benefit. Core worship servic¢s are
held throughout the week and remain open to all n]embers of the public. In addition, special events in the church
calendar, such as the Christmas Carol Serniee, are actively promoted within the lucal community to encourage wider
partickpation.
Queens Road Church continues to collaborate with local organisations to se￿¢ the wider communih-. Notably. we ivork
alongside thc fnends of Queen's Park to support events such as the annual Easter Egg I.IunL which brillgs families
togethLT in a ￿e1COmIng and inclusive environment.
This year. we launched a new outrcach iuitiatiTre called Conncc¢ dcsigncd to offci pcople tll opportunily to explo￿ the
Christian faith in a telax¢d and infortnal %Lllinb,. We al80 introduced an additiunal Bible exploration Loursc. upcn to all,
hosted in a neutral cale I'L￿lle to ensure acccssibilitv comfort for newcomers.
Furthcm]ore. Queens Road Church has c4)ntinued to partner with Hope Church Llanfairfechan to establish a youth Bible
sludy 8r()up. ￿,hIch meets fortni8htly and provides a space for young people to engage with Scripture and build
COTnmunity.
Missions
The church has continued to review its mission8ry giving with a focus on increasing ￿vIll8 to a smaller number of
Missions. In 20*4 the liming of these donations Changed. causing a decrease in ¢ompRrison to previous }'eaTS. In fj025
the church will conunit to not only increasing our giving to Ihe WO￿ of worldwide missions but will look to
reinvigorate the ivay in which we achieN'e better partnerships with mission partDers. We have Teached out to Albanian
Evangelical Mission w'ho visited the church in September. Ivho ha￿e put us in touch with a church in Memaliiaj Albania
that we hope to partner with in a meaningful Gospel Partnerthip.
