**19 are still pretty evident in the gap it as**
**made on children in that they lacked**
**interaction from the outside world during**
**their first two years of birth . we find that**
**many families and children are less**
**confident ,anxious and lack resilience,**
**more and more children being behind**
**with speaking and communicating in the**
**early years . We have supported many**
**families over the last year that were**
**struggling more than others. Especially**
**financially as the cost of living has risen**
**greatly We offered a food bank swap**
**services where we put unwanted items in**
**boxes and left outside weekly for families**
**to take and a clothes bank which was the**
**same process . we were able to offer**
**some extra hours and free spaces for**
**those that were especially vulnerable.**
**More children have been identified with**
**language delay were given extra support**
**we are finding that more children are**
**coming into the setting with additional**
**needs that need support with engaging**
**and interacting with staff and their**
**peers. . Our staff are constantly updating**
**training and refreshing Makaton. We use**
**Makaton continually to help all**
**children .it is also very good for children**
**with English as a second language. Our**
**children that where diagnosed with**
**additions needs 3 of them we applied for**
**extra funding and received it we have**
**requested EHCP plans for 2 children**
**this year that are both awaiting outcomes**
**. We also support many other children**
**that had other needs. . All children that**
**attended littlepips over the accounting**
**period had achieved and reached their**
**full potentials. All staff personal**
**development and their well beings were**
**looked after and supported over the**
**year . we have become well known in the**
**local area through our work with children**
**with SEN especially . we have had**
**children being referred to us because of**
**our SEN. We work very closely with the**
**local authority. Accessing their training**
**and support .Our SENCO is just finishing**
**her accredited Level 3 training . the local**
**authority have supported us through**
**transitions and behaviour training . we**
**have provide cultural capital experiences**| **for all children with outings to Greenwich ,trips up the river and family events such as theatre and local park . We have aimed to provide the children with the tools to be resilient ,confident and prepare them for the next stages of their journeys into adult life .Our services as benefited many families that have children that have disabilities many with autism and other syndromes this us given us lots of experience which we have been able to pass on to parents/carers.
