Registered charity number: 1171262 Our Sale West (Working name) ## **Charitable objectives:** To further or benefit the residents of Sale West and the neighbourhood, without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or political, religious or other opinions by associating together the said residents and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to: - Advance education - Provide facilities in the interests of social welfare, recreation & leisure - Improve the conditions of life for the residents - The advancement of religion for the benefit of the public by making facilities referred to available for the use of religious activities as the trustees from time to time see fit. ## **Trustees:** Mr Ralph Rudden (Chair) Mrs Freda Eyden (Vice Chair) Mr Dan Shelston Cllr John Holden Mr Avtar Diggwar (treasurer) ## **Activities during 2022:** During this year the organisation successfully received funding from Veoila Community trust, Trafford Council, Irwell Valley Housing and Our Sale West Big Local to fund the improvements to the Sale West Park, Trafford. This has led to the installation and completion if a new Junior play area to the park. Working with Our Sale West Big Local to increase the number of trustees with the intention of changing the working title to Our Sale West.
