The trustees have regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit and have signed accordingly. The Trustees have regard to best practice guidance and the legal obligations of fundraising for Non-Profit Organisations in the UK. The World Dignity Project has a volunteering policy to support the volunteer programme. It defines the role of volunteers within the organisation, and how they can expect to be treated. Section F Other optional information

Congratulations to World Dignity Project President, Professor Gabriel Ivbijaro, on his appointment as Secretary General of the World Federation for Mental Health (WFMH). WFMH, a global NGO, was founded in 1948 to improve awareness and remove prejudice about mental disorders, and its values our closely aligned with ours. Professor Ivbijaro is a past President of WFMH.

The World Dignity Project Board has adopted the Charity Governance Code. The code will be used as a tool to support continuous improvement.

Joint Conference between The World Dignity Project & the University of San Diego, June 2020 was postponed due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

This joint conference between the World Dignity Project and the University of San Diego (USD), Tackling Stigma, Mobilizing Hope: Opening Doors to Quality Mental Healthcare for All, was scheduled to be held at USD in San Diego on Thursday 11th June 2020 – Saturday 13th June 2020.
