|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|Corbridge Chamber Music Festval presented<br>four days of concerts and a masterclass for<br>young musicians across four days in July 2023,<br>celebratng 25 years of bringing chamber music<br>to this largely rural part of Tynedale in<br>Northumberland. Joining the Artstc Directors,<br>the Gould Piano Trio and Robert Plane, were the<br>largest number of guest musicians the festval<br>had ever invited, which enabled a huge range of<br>diverse repertoire. Alongside mainstream pieces<br>such as Mozart Clarinet Quintet, Oboe Quartet<br>and Beethoven Septet, many lesser-known<br>works were presented. Women composers were<br>well represented, with works by Farrenc, Lili<br>Boulanger, Anna Meredith, Valerie Coleman and<br>Sarah Jenkins. Composers of colour were also<br>central to the programming, with works by<br>Coleridge Taylor, Coleman and Paquito D’Rivera<br>prominently included.  Repertoire ranged from<br>the baroque to world premieres, embracing a<br>wide range of styles in between including<br>American Song Book works by Gershwin, Cole<br>Porter and Jerome Kern.<br>The festval’s ongoing commitment to<br>supportng young musicians took the form of a<br>free masterclass for three young fute players<br>from the North-East with the world-renowned<br>fute player Adam Walker.|

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended **31 / 10 / 2023** . 

- **Responsibilities and** As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation **basis of report** of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). 

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
