The nature of Modern Slavery is an insidious on8. Millions of men, women and children are trapped in horrlfic
slav8ry conditions around the world, consequently and unknowingly, it Is present In the food we eat, the clothes
we wear, and the teohnology we are increaslngty relianl on.
Voioe of Hope was set up to raise awareness ofthe scope and scale ofboth Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking
to enhance understanding and effectively empowering, equipping and influencing others to bring about posltive
and transfomiational chang8.
Voice of Hope contlnues to be dedlcatsd to ralslng publlc awareness of the horrifying reality of human trafficking
and modern slavery.

Data from the Home Office indicates how urgent our misslon is, thousands of men, women and childr8n are being
refer￿d into the UK'S framework, The National Ref6ffal M8chani8m. demonstrating that awaroness across the
sectors is impactfvl and effective.
Th8 haunting truth is that modern slavery lurks much clo88r than is r8aliz8d.
The charlty's pollcy on reserve8
It has been agreed by the trustees to keep three months of expendSture In reserves. This is set for the CU￿ent on-
coming year for £12,000. The total unrestricted res8rv8s h81d at the end of the year was £7,470 {2023: £3.721}
and total restricted reSen￿S held was £60,594 {2023: £53,617).

December 2024 whlch are set out on pages 5 to 7.

As the charily's twstees of Voice of Hope, you are reswnsible for the preparation of the accounts in
aG¢ordanc8 Wlth requirements of the Charities Ad 2011 Cthe Act).
I report In respect of my examinatton of the Volce of Hope accounts ¢arrled out und8r sectlon 145 of the
2011 Act and in carying out my examinaticn I have followed 811 the applicable Directions given by the Charity
Commisslon under sectlon 145(5>(b) of the Act.

I hav8 completed my 8xamination. I confirm that no material malter8 have ¢ome to my attentlon in
nnectlon wtth the examination giving me cause fo belSeve that in any material respeci:
1. Accountlng records were not kept in respeci of Voice of Hope as requlred by sectlon 130 of the Act. or
2. the accounts do not accord with those r8cord8', or
3. the accounts to not comply with the a¢￿UntIng requirements concerning the form and content ofaccounts
set out in th8 Charities (Accounts and Reports) R6gulation8 2008 olher than any requirem8nt that the
