CONNECT is a Chritiable Orgainsation (CIO) Registered in England and Wales with the Charitiy Commission under registration Number 1171158. It's registered office is Tabernale Baptist Church, Dunstall Road, Wolverhampton. WV6 0NJ
OBJECTIVES
The Charitable objects are: The advancement of the Christian Faith in Wolverhampton and surrounding areas by: Promoting Christian faith and values encompassing all denominations and traditions. Promoting collaboration between churches Supporting community projects amoung churches and in collaboration with other communtiy agencies Supporting Church leaders

The charity is governed by its governing document, a deed of trust, and constitutes a limited company, Limited by Guarentee as defined by the Companies Act 2006
RISK MANAGEMENT
The trustees have a duty to identify and review the risks to which the charity is exposed and to ensure and appropriate controls are in place to provide reasonable assurance against fraud and error
MEMBERS GUARANTEE
The company is incorporated as a company limited by guarantee and does not have a share capital. The liability of each member is fixed at an amount not to exceed £1.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

1 ACCOUNTING POLICIES
a: Basis of accounting - the financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the historical cost convention and are in accordance with Statements of Standard Accounting Practice. b: Turnover consists of grants received, activity based sales and donations. No value-added tax is involved.

As described on the balance sheet you are responsible for the preparation of the financial statements for the period ended 31st December 2020 , and you consider that the company is exempt from audit
In accordance with your instructions, these unaudited financial statements have been compiled from the accounting records, information and explanations supplied, to assist you to fulfill your statutory responsibilities.
