The Church Is governed by a constitution adopted 31 OctobEf 2016 when the charity reglstered wlth the Charity
ComrnlssiM. The church had previousty been govemed by a Oeclaratlon of Trust dated 2 May 1977,
subsequently amended by a Deed of AppoKitment and Retlrement dated 20 Awll 21￿5.
The churthes objects are the advan￿rnent of the Christian Falth In accordan￿ wllh the basls of fast￿ and 5uth
other charftable purpose as meets the needs of the churth.
The Church's alm 15 to fulfll thls and thus malntaln a witness to the Chr55tlan Falth and the 5UPPOrt of varlous
Mi55ionary Socletles and Charltles whlch have a similar 8iblical approach to their activhtle5.

The Church was open for the flrst Sundoy of the year and then had to close 38aln under Covld restricwons untl
Aprll. We opened wlth a Good Frlday servlce and the usual 5￿CeS on Easter Llay.
It was a pleasure to wdcome vlsitors a8aln throu8hout the year and io rewme serving tèa and coffee afterthe
evening Serv1￿ and the Tuesday Bible Studies. tight suppers were agaln provided dUrI￿AugUst.
We were thankful to be able to hold our usual Carol Ser¥lce and Chrb5trnOs Day service5 wlthout any restrictions
this year.
We enjoyed ¥151ts from rel￿entativeS of the Trlnltarlan Blble Society and the Slavlc Gospel Assoclatlon.
We were saddened bythe death of a falthful member of ihe con8regatlon, Mel Barne5. The funeral took pla￿ at
the Church In March underthe 30 Ilmlt restrlrtlon5.
Later In the year We were contacted by 5011cltors who Infomed us that Mel had Ic* the Church a very generous
legacy. We received an interim pa￿ent of £18.(KKI in August and the members dedded that glfts should be
sent to Charlties we 5UPPOrt before anything else was consldered. Accordlngty the missionary secretary sent
81ft5 of £1,000 each to the following: Barnabas Fund, The Chrlstian Institute. Internatlonal Misslon to Jewlsh
People. Mlsslon Aviation Fellowshlp and 5ddlers' and Alrmen'5 Scripture Readers Assodaikni.
Necessary repalrs al￿ refurblshment of the Church buildin8 were dlscussed and thls wlll be arranged in 2022.
The roof wirs over the skle room were completed In Juty and the room was re-decorated in December. All the
old strip lights were replaced wlth LED lighting in A￿￿$t.

In Aprll we were Intsffled by the HoldlnB Trustees of the buildln& Fellowship Propwty Trust, that It Is do￿n9
and that we would hwe to flnd another holdlng trustee. There were varlous optlons and the Managlng Trustees
flnally decided to appolnt Church Growth Trust as they could glve us a very similar service to that provided by
FPT. All the members were Informed and the secretary was authorlsed to make tho than8eover. We were
offered a Erant to hdp wlth expenses but, ￿ven our present drcumstances we declined as we felt there would
be other small churche5 In a slmllar posltlon who would find It dwhcultto meet the cost>
