||installationof stainless-steelreinforcing bars. Quotationswereobtained from|
||threesuppliers.|
||Twofundraising ventureswereundertaken.A100clubwasinstigated andthe|
||target of100 membersachieved, contributingan annual payment oft24.This|
||generatedt1200forCIO fundsfromhalfofthepayments.Theother halfwas|
||utilisedformonthly€100prize. ThefirstdrawwasheldinNovember" One|
||thousand ticketsweresold fortheGrandChristmasdrawandt1000wasraised|
||for CIO funds.|
||ThejointcornmitteewithPillaton ParishCounciltoinvestigate fundingfor play|
||parkequipment(PFSG) raised funds off12850towardsreplacement.This|
||consisted off12000fromCornwallCommunityFoundation,t750fromTesco|
||Callington andf100from privateindividuals. The fundsweremanaged by the|
||GlO.Thedonations of €850were transferred toPillaton Parish Councilto assist|
||withpurchase of some items.|

||The CIO decidedtoinstigateasubcommitteetomanagethelintel repair.This|

||engineeringexpertise. lnsteadofadoptingreinforcing bars, thecommittee|
||determinedthata localbuildingcontractorshouldbe retainedtoreducethe|
||doorwayunderthelintelandreplacefaulty cracked blockworkunder the|
||management of co-optedengineer.As theworkrequired Building Control|
||planning approvalandan applicationwassubmitted andapproved.Nofudher|
||activitywasundertaken inthisperiod.|
