Hertford Town Community FC Sports Education Trust {Charity number 1171072} was established to
take over the assets and operations of the Hertford Town Youth FC (Charity number 1104117).
The club plays an important role in the community providing sporting artivities for young people to
develop their fitness, social and interpersonal skills.
The club has engaged in fund raising facilities through summer football tournaments. which has
proven to be successful, both from a player development standpoint and for the club finances. The
club was also successful in claiming gift aid and obtained sponsorship from a local business in the
Hertfordshire community. The club has followed all FA and league 8uidelines.
The Club is committed to creating and maintaining the safest possible environment for children and
young people to play football. This is done by:
Recognising that all children have the right to freedom from abuse.
Ensuring that all our coaches and other volunteers are carefully selected and they accept
responsibility for helping to prevent the abuse of children in the club. All teams have a
minimum of one FA qualified Level One coach.
Responding swiftly and appropriately to all suspicions or allegations of abuse and by providing
parents and children with the opportunity to voice any concerns they may have.
Appointing a Club Welfare Officer who will take specific responsibility for child safety and att as
the main point of contact for parents, children and outside agencies.
Ensuring access to confidential information is restricted to the Club Welfare Officer or the
appropriate external authorities.
Reviewing the effertives of our Club Safeguarding Policy and activities each year.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above
charity {￿he Trust") for the year ended 3110512024.
Responslbllltles and
basis of report
As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the
accounts in accordan￿ with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011
('the Act").
I report in respect of my examinalion of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I
have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent I have completed my examination. I confinn that no material matters have
examiner's statement come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me
cause to believe that in, any material respect:
the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130
of the Charrties Act; or
the accounts did not accord with the accounting records", or
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements
concerning the fomi and content of accounts set out in the Charities
{Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement
that the accounts give a 'true and fairf view which is not a matter
considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection
with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in
order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
