Groups of approximately 12 Young People aged 13-21 meet weekly during term time with two adult leaders. They undertake a structured and challenging programme of personal development and fundraising. Many are motivated by the opportunity to fund raise and travel abroad as a group of volunteers for 10 days eg to Western Kenya helping orphans in the Nasio Trust schools and family homes who are even less fortunate than themselves.On their return the programme may continue with support for education, employment and ambassadorial work for YoCO. The weekly programme includes: • Education: eg staying safe online, the risks of alcohol and drugs, how |

Para 1.38 | Group sessions are run and residential trips led by volunteers. Total volunteer hours were 3,570. This shows an uplift from 2023 as we had 3 overseas volunteer trips. |

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5){b) of the Act.
