The objective of The GUS Band is to further the study. practlce and encouragement of Brass Band Music in all forms in order to
foster public know1ed8e and appreciation of such music by mean5 of public performances or otherwise including training and
education of brass players.
The Trustee5 are aware of the requirernents of the Charities Act 2011 regèrdin8the reportin8 of the public benef1t of the charity.
The Trustees reco8nize that, for the aitounting year ending 31st December 2022. the trustees report is required to include Such

Over the last year the bènd competed in the following competitions=
Feb 26 2023. The Midlènds Area Charnpionship Sectlon Contèst. The Cube. Corby. Placed I"

June 2 2023. The Whit Friday Marches Contest. 3 x 4, 5 6 8 and 14

As well 35 coynpetitions the 8and have put on Concert5 locally around Northamptonshire and have èppeared acr055
the country by invitation. Including the Band'$ 90th year Celebrations.
The band's playing personnel continue to change year in year out, but the pl8ying standèrd of the band Is still
maintained at the highest level. The players are 311 committed ènd dedicated to the future of brass bandin&

To develop young players to ensure continuity of top-class rnusician5.
