Activities

The Management Committee of Settle Community Library is responsible for staffing the library, organising activities and fundraising, in order to maintain the library's services to the public. It works in partnership with North Yorkshire Council.

Objects: The Following Objects Are For The Benefit Of The Public In North Yorkshire1)to Advance The Education By The Provision Of A Community Lending Library; And2)the Provision Of Facilities For Recreation Or Other Leisure Time Occupation Of Individuals Who Have Need Of Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disablement, Financial Hardship Or Social And Economic Circumstances Or For The Public At Large In The Interests Of Social Welfare And With The Object Of Improving The Condition Of Life Of The Said Inhabitants.
