Trustees’ Report 2023/24

Charity’s Objects

The Charity's objects are to advance the Christian religion, in particular amongst but not limited to those working in government and to advance such other charitable purposes as the Trustees shall from to time to time decide. These are recognised as charitable objects having public benefit.

Trustee Selection

Apart from the first Trustees, every Trustee must be appointed for a term of 3 years by a resolution passed at a properly convened Trustees’ meeting. In selecting individuals for appointment as Charity trustees, the Trustees must have regard to the skills, knowledge and experience needed for the effective administration of the Charity.

Trust Activities

The Charity has through financial and staff resource provision supported, (1) Church Services, (2) meetings of those working in government involving prayer, worship & teaching, (3) the provision of Christian training, workshops and networking opportunities open to civil servants, and (4) the provision of encouragement, support and resources for those who wish to further their understanding and outworking of their Christian faith within the workplace.

Financial Review

The Trustees require that sufficient funds are retained to support activities over the next 3-6 months. For the 2023/24 financial year this threshold was considered to be £6,000.
