## Objectives and activities 

To promote education and assist students of Horticulture. 

Having regard to guidance of the Charity Commission on public benefit to award Grants principally to persons involved in Horticulture. 

Applicants are invited to complete in strict confidence a simple application form describing the course for which they wish to enrol and their financial circumstances. 

## Achievements and performance 

A number people benefitted from grants enabling them to pay Royal Horticultural Society course fees which otherwise they could not afford. 

## Financial review 

We aim if possible to use all the annual income of the trust fund left by the late Miss Spinks in making grants.
